Funding and fees

Adventure Playschool aims to offer affordable childcare. Funded places are available for eligible 2 year olds. We also are able to offer places to all 3-4 year old children for 15 funded hours and those eligible for the 30 hours funding. We have included some links below to help you understand what funding your child is eligible for.

All children in receipt of funding need to be registered by the parents/carers. This is not something Adventure Playschool is able to do on your behalf.

Our fees

£22.50 per session am (9-12) or pm (12-3)

£45 full day (9-3)
Snack 50p per morning session (optional or provide own)

Funded places incur a ‘voluntary’ additional charge for consumables and the additional activities we offer, please see link to policy below:

One off costs for optional extras such as insect repellent bands and sun screen can also be purchased.

Unable/unwilling to pay policy

At Adventure Playschool parents / carers can claim the Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) for their child/ren.

Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare. The 15 or 30 hours must be able to be accessed free of charge to parents / carers. There must not be any mandatory charges for parents / carers in relation to the free hours. It is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional services.

This policy sets out what options parents and carers have if they are unable or unwilling to pay for the additional services provided by Adventure Playschool.
